This Privacy Policy explains how Syncifi collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the application.

Information We Collect

  • Account details from Google Sign-In such as name, email address, and profile image.
  • Gmail message metadata and content required to detect deadline-related emails.
  • Google Calendar event information needed to create, update, and sync deadline events.
  • Application data such as extracted deadlines, event type, confidence score, and status (pending, approved, dismissed).

How We Use Google User Data

  • Gmail read-only access is used only to identify and process deadline-related emails.
  • Google Calendar access is used only to create, update, or remove deadline events requested by the user.
  • We do not sell Google user data and we do not use Gmail or Calendar data for advertising.
  • Data is used exclusively to provide core app functionality: deadline extraction, approval queue, and calendar sync.

Google API Services User Data Policy

  • Syncifi use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
  • Google user data is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.
  • Access to Google user data is limited to the minimum required scopes and app features.

Data Sharing

  • We do not share personal data with third parties except service providers required to operate this application (for example, hosting and database providers).
  • We may disclose data if required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request.

Data Retention and Deletion

  • Extracted event records are stored so users can review and manage deadlines in the dashboard.
  • Users can dismiss events and remove synced calendar items from within the app.
  • Users can revoke access at any time from their Google Account permissions page.
  • To request account or data deletion, contact the app administrator using the contact details below.

Security

  • Access tokens are stored securely and refreshed only when needed.
  • We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information.
  • Only authenticated users can access their own deadline and sync data.

Your Choices

  • You may stop using the app at any time.
  • You may revoke Google API access from your Google Account settings.
  • You may contact us to request correction or deletion of your stored data.
